2026 Bonus Content REVEALED!
What floptastic delights await?
Today’s Flop Story!
It’s Max Fun Drive time! Well, not QUITE yet — the drive technically starts on April 20 (stoned voice: “4/20 woooooo!”) — but our first of THREE special drive episodes drops tomorrow! As a reminder, this year each of the Flop House hosts picked one movie to inflict on the others for the most maximal time of the year. Dan dared the others to log on to FEARDOTCOM and Elliott opted to torture us for 40 DAYS AND 40 NIGHTS, but it’s all kicking off with Stuart’s pick, EXIT TO EDEN. It’s a legendarily strange critical and commercial flop, crossing Anne Rice’s BDSM erotica with Garry Marshall’s broad comedy sensibility! And if you enjoyed the loopy in-person energy of our Mercy episode, good news! We recorded this one on the same night!
What’s Next on the BoCo* Feed?
Maximum Fun operates on a listener support model not unlike public broadcasting. We don’t require anyone to pay for the shows they love. We make the overwhelming share of our content free for all, while hoping that — if listeners find our work valuable — they’ll “tip their podcasters” for providing entertainment and company over the hours and weeks and years. Does that make us cockeyed optimists? Perhaps! Only our optometrists know for sure.
That said, we do offer thank-you gifts to sustaining listeners, and the most popular gift comes at the lowest membership level — our BONUS feed. Just $5 a month gives you access to MORE of the show you love, with tons of Flop House bonus episodes, as well as bonus eps from shows across the network.
Enough preamble! What’s on tap for Flop House BoCo this year?
A trip down TRANSFORMERS turnpike, true floplievers!
We’ll be doing at least three episodes, each covering the first (and in some cases only) movies in various Transformers timelines! That’s TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE (1986), the only film in the mainline TV series continuity; TRANSFORMERS (2007), the first of the Michael Bay monstrosities; and TRANSFORMERS ONE (2024), the not-bad computer animated prequel! We’ve already recorded the episode on Transformers: The Movie — it’ll be in your bonus feed on day one, and it’s a corker!

One of these is gonna be more painful than the others.
But wait! There’s more than meets the eyes! That’s the bonus content we’ll release NO MATTER WHAT. If everyone just sits on their hands, Max Fun members will get those episodes. But if we make our stretch goals, that’s where things get interesting!
If The Flop House get 1600 new, upgrading, or boosting members, we’ll do TWO ADDITIONAL EPISODES covering TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN and TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON! We’re not super up on our Transformers lore, but we’re pretty sure those are the one where the fallen get their revenge, and the one where the moon is dark, or something.

More like dark of the POSTERS. Why so murky?
But we’d never decepti-con you. It’s at 2000 new, upgrading, or boosting members, that things get really interesting!
If we meet our furthest stretch goal, that unlocks the goldmine of FOUR ADDITIONAL EPISODES. We’re talking TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION (a rare Flop House revisit), TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT, the actually-critically-liked spinoff BUMBLEBEE, and the (so far) end of the Bay timeline (tho he just produced this one), TRANSFORMERS: RISE OF THE BEASTS!

By this point, we will have gone quite mad.
“But guys!” you cry, “What if I don’t care about Transformers?” Well, we hope the episodes are funny no matter how you feel about the residents of Cybertron, but fair enough. If this year is anything like the last one, something else will probably end up on the bonus feed along the way, but also you’ll get access to all the great bonus content we’ve made in the past — stuff like Stu’s RPG adventures (over the years we’ve been original flavor D&D characters, paranormal investigators in the 1930s, cartoon dogs, and restaurant service workers), discussions of bad TV, live shows, DVD commentaries, a whole episode that was just Radio Zork, and much more!
It’s an awfully tough time in the world right now. Believe us, we get it. But if you’re able, please consider supporting independent, creator-owned media in general and The Flop House in particular in this year’s drive!
