Thank You, Listeners!
A super-quick note, to round out Max Fun Drive 2026
Today’s Flop Story!
If you’re reading this newsletter on the day of release (Friday, May 1) then be sure to tune in to the official Max Fun HQ YouTube at 7pm ET/4pm PT for an hour of Flop House livestream fun — part of a drive-ending MARATHON of livestreams from your favorite shows! What will we be doing? Who knows, but Dan keeps threatening bits! BITS!

It’s like Max Fun Christmas in here!
Max Fun Drive Wrap-Up
We’ve been hammering the drive hard, and with good reason — it really IS the thing that ultimately keeps this podcast going, and when times are tougher in the world it’s 100% fair and reasonable that folks may need to allocate their money elsewhere… but it also means it’s harder to reach our benchmarks to keep the show healthy. So if you want to help us meet that 1600 goal that helps us fight year-to-year attrition and churn and unlocks more bonus episodes, this is the last time you’ll see this link in a newsletter this year: maximumfun.org/join.
But since we HAVE been hitting the message hard (if you like a clean inbox, sorry for the extra newsletter!) we mostly wanted to take this moment to say…

Please enjoy this boardwalk-quality caricature of The Peaches.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for caring enough about our silly little show to make it a part of your life — let alone for continuing to support us with membership. It means the world to us, both emotionally and, quite honestly, practically.
Thank you to all who became members for the first time. Thank you to those who increased or boosted their membership. Thank you to the generous folks who gifted a Max Fun membership to others, or who matched other listeners’ memberships.
A special thank you to folks who have been steadfast listener-members for years. There are very real practical, math reasons why we have to focus on increasing membership during the drive period, but please don’t mistake that for neglect of our core listenership. Many of you have been members for years and you’re the unsung heroes who keep the show going. Thank you so much for your loyal support.
And thank you as well to those of you who enjoy the show but can’t afford membership right now. Here’s hoping this year brings better things.
THANK YOU!
Next on the Podcast
5/2 - We wrap up Max Fun Drive ‘26 with a discussion of 40 DAYS AND 40 NIGHTS. Will Stuart’s sanity survive?
5/9 - What’s this? Shouldn’t there be a FH Mini in this space? NO! Our MFD largesse extends past the drive, with one more bonus full episode. Friend of the show Steve Kostanski (director of Psycho Goreman, Frankie Freako, and Deathstalker) returns to The Flop House to discuss another return: RETURN TO SILENT HILL!
You Made it to the End!
Here’s a behind the scenes shot of Dan acting against himself (to be added later) for a MFD promo video!
