Thank You for the Gift of Listening!

Have a Peachy Holiday

A Holiday Card for You

Whatever your belief system (including “none”), we all deserve some kindness and cheer during the darkest months — especially during this dark year. So please accept these well-wishes from our Flop Family. We’re fortunate and grateful to have you as our devoted listeners, year after year. Here’s to you!

God (or whatever) bless us every one!

Next on the Podcast:

Hear ye on main!

12/21- We close out the year with one of the biggest legitimate commercial (30 mil return on a 120 mil budget) and critical (26/100 on Metacritic) flops of 2024 — Borderlands, directed by Eli Roth and an uncredited Tim Miller. When there’s an uncredited second director, the movie’s always good, right?

12/28 - Stuart takes us on a tour through the year with a game that jogs our memories about the films of 2024. Who will win? Will it be the guy with time to see movies, or the one who’s got two small children and a demanding job? Hard to say!

Extra Credit

Elliott continues to host Smartless Presents Clueless, a quiz show where he tries to stump Sean Hayes with brainteasers. We did a little feed drop recently, and if you enjoyed it, add them to your podcast rotation!

Dan discussed a couple of his personal film faves on other podcasts recently. Check him out on The Substance, talking about The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, and on This May Hurt a Bit, talking about the oft-invoked Gremlins 2: The New Batch — the latter show is hosted by Dan and Stu’s old college buddy Jim Strayer, and Dan’s G2 episode may or may not be out by the time of publication, but you can definitely listen to Stuart on another recent episode, talking about the Critters series, Frankie Freako, and little monster movies.

You Made it to the End!

Enjoy a shot of Archie, the Christmas Cat.
